Be prepared for a never ending "Money Pit"...

CRX SI drivers seat

CRX SI passenger seat

Easy modification, just bend two front tabs, cut off one rear one.

Buick electric mirrors fit the door contour without modification. Drivers side mirror base will cover the OEM large hole. With proper placement of the mirror both vent window will open & close completely, but with only minimal clearance.

Better rearview vision, & weigh less than OEM. Passengers side has a convex style mirror which gives better rearward visability. Placement of the adjusting switch cab is simple & just a matter of your choice for the best location.

4" twin stainless steel mufflers, smaller & lighter than OEM, it is hung with stailess steel band clamps for strength & appearance. Various size mufflers will be able to be bolted in via flanges in the "cat" hump for sound control. The bumper braces are stock 79's which were cut short and will bolt up to 74 blade bumpers.

Car has been lowered, but sits high here due to lack of engine, transmission, top, & interior. It now has a new set of Panasport Minilite wheels. It also has two trunk lids being preped for paint work one with the wing, one without.

The Fiat emblem mounting hole has been filled in. Thw "wing" if used will be the same red color as the rest of the car, I feel if it's used it will be less visable than it is at the moment being two different colors.

The OEM license plate lights are being removed as well as the 2000 emblem with key. The trunk lid will be unlocked using an electric solenoid with a cable back up. License plate gets mounted between the bumpers ala early style.

All bumpers have overide holes filled in & have already been rechromed. Not visible is the "Rust" spot on the left side of the body about the size of a pencil eraser at the rear wheel well.

All side marker lights changed to 1970 model. The little blue mark at the wheel arch above the body line is the "Rust" spot for the right side of the body. Five layers of paint & 168000+ miles.

At the time this picture was taken I did not know the panel above the muffler was a two piece panel!! It made the job quite interesting to say the least.

Front CRX SI seat after being recovered, headrests are not finished yet. The seams had to be changed to horizontal to allow the factory style cover anchor points to be used, the rear upholstery was changed to match. I'm still waiting to see the door panels, sun visors, and door sills as well as the rear floor trim.

Rear seat after recovered, they are the same color and material as the front seats but the photo does not show it as such. I'm looking for some good plastic trim in black, but they seem hard to find. As a last resort I will spray the tan to black. The front corners of the seat bottom have been trimmed to make room for the roll bar.

The trunk lid has inserts made of the same material, the idea is if I ever do put something into the trunk it can not dent the single wall lid from the inside out. The rest of the trunk, sidewalls, battery box cover, and floor mat is being made from the same material. The holes are from the luggage rack, they will be filled in before painting.

It sure does help if you have someplace to store all the odds & ends that seem to crop up.

Right fender "updated" to accept early style park/turn signal light, as well as a 1970 two piece side marker light.

Left fender "updated" to accept the early style park/turn signal light, as well as a 1970 two piece side marker light.

Headrest back.

This one back also.
