If you do not have a sign with 2" letters as pictured below posted at all parking entrances* we can not legally remove a vehicle unless directed to do so by local law enforcement authorities on scene. * If you have access to your parking lot that does not have a curb such as a lawn facing the street it must have signs posted every 100 feet. Signs must be in place 48 hours prior to vehicle removal.
There is no charge to the property owner for vehicles removed within 5 days of being parked on property, vehicles parked between 6 and 29 days are charged on a case by case basis. Vehicles that have been left over thirty days and vehicles without valid license plates must be paid by the property owner or manager for removal at the current rate of $250.00 per vehicle. This charge covers initial vehicle removal, storage, legal fee's, second tow for disposal, as well as charges for tires, wheels, and battery removal as well as disposal, draining of all fluids to include antifreeze, oils, air conditioning charges, and trash removal and disposal as required to be able to salvage the vehicle. If charges are able to be assessed to owner and collected then the dollar amount equal to the amount collected will be refunded to the property owner or manager who originally paid for services.
